This Privacy Statement explains how Killer Marketing Machines (“we,” “us”), operated by Jack Turk, collects and uses information through KillerMarketingMachines.com and related sites, including MyDailyMonocle.com. By using these sites, you agree to this statement.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, email address and anything you enter in a form, application, diagnostic, survey or email to us. This can include details about your business.
- Information collected automatically. Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers.
- Email activity. Our email service may record whether you open our emails and click links in them.
How we use it
- To send you what you asked for, such as a diagnostic report or The Daily Monocle.
- To respond to your questions and review applications to work with us.
- To send you marketing emails about our products and services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To process purchases and subscriptions, and to keep our sites secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need. These may include:
- AWeber and Substack (email newsletters)
- Calendly (scheduling calls)
- Our website host
- Google Fonts (our site loads its typefaces from Google, so your browser connects to Google’s servers)
- Stripe (secure checkout and billing when you buy a subscription, workshop or other product; we never see or store your full card number)
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
Our site doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. When you check out, Stripe’s payment page uses cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud. Services we link to, such as Calendly or our newsletter signup, may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you’re subscribed or working with us, and afterward only as long as needed for business or legal purposes.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing jack@KillerMarketingMachines.com.
Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have additional rights under local law. We will honor those requests as the law requires.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no website or email system is completely secure.

Our sites are for business owners and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
